Change the World with Onigiri Project

On Monday, November 14th, GFES students will participate a service project called “Change the World with Onigiri.” Participating students will help feed needy kids around the world by making an Onigiri (Japanese rice ball) and posting a picture of their Onigiri.  For every Onigiri picture posted, Table for Two will donate five meals.  If you do not want your child’s picture to be posted on a public website, please let your JIP teacher know.

We need JCC members to volunteer their time and/or Onigiri-making supplies to make this service project a success. Please see the sign up sheet HERE.

The “Change the World with Onigiri” project supports World Food Day (October 16), which was established by the United Nations as a day for everyone to think about food problems in the world.  More information about the campaign HERE.
