The JCC Japanese Art Project for the 2015-2016 School Year will feature Kamon Print Making. Students will be introduced to a variety of Japanese Kamons (family crests), be encouraged to design their own and make prints.
This year’s project will include the entire school body for the first time! This is one of the ways the JCC is working to get the entire school and our community excited about Japanese culture. Please help us make this inaugural event a success by volunteering.
The JCC will be taking over Room 196 at GFES from June 13-17, where we will present a short power point history on the Japanese Kamon and show students who to design, carve and print their own Kamon.
