Japanese Art Project 2016

The JCC Japanese Art Project for the 2015-2016 School Year will feature Kamon Print Making.  Students will be introduced to a variety of Japanese Kamons (family crests), be encouraged to design their own and make prints.

This year’s project will include the entire school body for the first time! ┬áThis is one of the ways the JCC is working to get the entire school and our community excited about Japanese culture. ┬áPlease help us make this inaugural event a success by volunteering.

The JCC will be taking over Room 196 at GFES from June 13-17, where we will present a short power point history on the Japanese Kamon and show students who to design, carve and print their own Kamon.

You can sign up to volunteer HERE.
